Product Description:
The unique XL400 Façade Waterproofing System is an ideal solution to achieving a permanent waterproof seal around penetrations in curtain walling situations i.e. commercial offices, high rise concrete structures, etc.
Over time building facades are subject to the effects and stresses of both thermal and structural movements such as wind, rain and a vast range of temperatures and climatic conditions.
The unique XL400 system provides several benefits to customers:
The system is weather proof, showing extreme resistance to chemical pollutants, UV Radiation and atmospheric conditions, with a life expectancy exceeding 50 years.
Resistant to extreme temperatures, the system remains elastic and retains all characteristics even in the most extreme of temperatures between -40 and +150 degrees C.
The system is puncture resistant, with the ability to withstand severe pressure.
Biological resistant, the system is resistant to rodents, fungi, bacteria and microbiological degradation.
The system is flexible, it can withstand thermal and structural movement by up to 400% and return to its original size and shape.
EPDM does not absorb water or moisture.
The system is environmentally friendly, it does not contain any CFCs, HCFCs, Pthalates, dioxins or other harmful chemicals.
The material is completely recyclable and does not contain any plasticizer so therefore will not shrink or crack.
The unique XL400 adhesive is water resistant and flexible making it superior to its competitors.
The system helps conform to Building Regulations, contributing to an airtight seal on a building.
