The Speedline type EX/WD/TD ceramic wall access panel is designed for us in walls to be finished with ceramic or marble tiles upto a thickness of 10mm. After tiling, the door frame and edges are fully concealed, and the gap around the door will match the required grout width. A plastic simulated grount can be applied if required, which is inserted into the gap around the door to give a realistic grout finish. Alternatively, the gap can be filled with a silicon mastic sealant which can be cut through using a stanley knife when the door is in use. Various types od locking devices can be supplied to secure the panel including budget lock, magnetic catch, touch catch, ball catch and security locks. The EX/WD/TD is constructed from 1.5mm thick Zintec Steel, and the door tray is lined with 12.5mm thick moisture board. The panel door and frame are polyester powder coated in matt white Ral 9010, 20% gloss. A unique high pin detail allows maximum access for maintenance to be carried out, whilst at the same time eliminating any contact between tile edges whn opening. The quick release hinge allows the door to be fully removed when required. For access panels greater in size than 900mm x 600mm, a rolling ball system is fitted to the base of the door near top the hinge pin; this allows the door to open and close smoothly without straining the hinge pin. The EX/WD/TD is a non-fire rated wall door. |
